Career Summary

Joe Primeau played 10 games with the Toronto Marlboros during the 1926-27 season, scoring eleven (11) goals and three (3) assists with the team.

Upon the end of his Ontario Hockey League (OHL) career, Primeau became a career Toronto Maple Leaf, playing nine (9) seasons with the team and was part of the infamous “Kid Line” with Charlie Conacher and Harvey “Busher’ Jackson.

Perhaps most impressive about Primeau’s career is that he is the only coach in history to have coached his teams to win the Allen Cup, Memorial Cup, and the Stanley Cup.

In 1963, Primeau was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.  Primeau was also listed as number 92 of the Hockey News’ 100 Greatest Players of All Time in 1998.
