Section 116 - Home of Duke's Dog Pound!

The founding members of Duke’s Dog Pound attended our first game as a group on October 6, 2007 and sat in Section 116.  During the game, we saw that there was very little cheering and few people were speaking to one another.  We vowed to change that!

Later that month, we purchased many (many) more seats and adopted Section 116 as our new home at the Ricoh Coliseum and we founded Duke’s Dog Pound

Our goals were simple:

  • Go to Toronto Marlies homes games and cheer on the team.
  • Create an environment that was fun, friendly, and where people could talk to one another, sit and enjoy the game with each other, and socialize.

At first, people were a little shocked that we wanted to sit together with total strangers, make new friends and spend time with our fellow Marlies fans, but our group has been steadily growing and we’ve made lots of new friends!  Now we’re season seat holders and even though we’re expanding our activities, our two goals will never change!

There is always room for more people and no Marlies fan will ever be turned away from our company.  To order seats in Section 116, call the Marlies' Account Executive for DDP, Wayne Young at (416) 263-3540 and be sure to tell them that you want to sit in Duke’s Dog Pound!  Our account number with the Marlies is 7246389.
